So, What’s Actually in Gin?
Reduced down to its simplest form, gin is a neutral spirit infused with botanicals like juniper, citrus peel, and spice, beginning its life cycle completely free of animal-products. However, some distillers then use fining agents derived from animals to clarify the spirit or add colours and flavours with ingredients that contain dairy. It’s these hidden extras that can catch out even the most vigilant vegan.

London Dry Gin Vegan Cocktail Recipes 

Lemon Twist 

  • 50ml Wrecking Coast London Dry Gin 
  •  25ml fresh lemon juice 
  •  20ml agave syrup 
  • Lemon twist to garnish 

Shake with ice, strain into a coupe, and finish with a twist. Simple and seriously sippable. 

Cucumber Basil Smash 

  • 50ml Wrecking Coast London Dry Gin 
  • 5 fresh basil leaves 
  • 3 slices of cucumber 
  • 25ml fresh lime juice 
  • 15ml simple syrup 

Muddle together basil and cucumber, shake everything with ice, and strain over fresh ice.  

Navy Strength Gin Vegan Cocktail Recipes 

Spiced Navy & Tonic 

  • 50ml Wrecking Coast Navy Strength Gin 
  • 150ml premium tonic water 
  • Star anise & orange peel to garnish 

Pour over ice, top with tonic, and add garnish. Quick, easy and delicious! 

Coconut Southside  

  • 50ml Wrecking Coast Navy Strength Gin 
  • 20ml fresh lime juice 
  • 15ml coconut syrup 
  • 5 fresh mint leaves
